This past year, the Cultural Advocacy Network of Michigan successfully advocated for increased funding and garnered an additional $2 million for the Michigan Arts and Culture Council.

In 2021, the Cultural Advocacy Network helped secure an additional $1.5 million for MACC and $100,000 to engage a Poet Laureate in Michigan through the Library of Michigan.

In 2020, the Cultural Advocacy Network helped secure additional resources to re-fund the essential work of the Michigan Historic Preservation Office.

We are excited to continue our advocacy efforts in 2023 with the announcement of  Cultural Advocacy Network of Michigan's Advocacy Day,  March 17, 2023. In addition to the opportunity to meet with your local state legislators, there will be a legislative reception March 7 and an Advocacy 101 training March 14, available to those who register. Register today! As we get closer to March 17 it becomes more difficult to guarantee that you will have meetings scheduled for all of your representatives and senators
